Chair Based Exercise Videos Added to Website

Liverpool healthy Homes have produced some Chair Based Exercise videos to help you to keep fit from the comfort of your own home.

There are 4 videos covering a Warm-Up Session, Aerobic Exercises, Muscle Strengthening, and a Cool Down Session.

You can view the videos by clicking on the 'Videos' link in the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

Free Walking Club Started in Liverpool

Fancy a walk to keep fit and meet people?

There’s a new walking club in Anfield, Liverpool that meets every Tuesday for an hour’s stroll. It’s free and is run by local people who are involved in the Community Health Champions scheme, run by PSS.

They meet at 1.30pm at the ABCC community centre in Lower Level Richmond Park, off Breck Road in Anfield, Liverpool. “Walking makes you feel and look better,” said Tom Murphy, from the health champions team. “You don’t need any special clothes or equipment, you just need to step outside and get on with it.”

New Design For PSS Health Trainers Website

PSS Health Trainers have a newly designed website to advertise their services.

The new website will give information on topics such as giving up smoking, eating healthily, increasing physical activity, drinking less alcohol, and sexual health.

Visitors will also be able to sign up and become a member of the website, giving them access to the Forums where they can post messages and join in the discussions on many health related issues and get help and advice.
